This line was inspired by @feenerandthread 's embroidery stitch of Amanda Gorman at the 2021 Inauguration. Amanda Gorman is a poet and activist. Her work focuses on issues of oppression, feminism, race, and marginalization and so much more. She is an inspiration.
We’ll be donating a portion of the proceeds of the IWD collaboration to St. John’s Women’s Centre. SJSOWC is the charitable non-profit arm of the St. John’s Status of Women Council. The Women’s Centre is dedicated to providing free women-centered, community-based programs that are delivered within a safe, non-judgmental, open, and caring environment. Their programs and services are women-focused, and for women only, and aim to provide opportunity for personal growth, empowerment, and social connection.
